Human Brain Connected to Computer Wirelessly

Scientists Have Succeeded; Without Cable, Human Brain Connected to Computer!

  Using BrainGate technology, commands from the human brain were transferred to the computer. In the study, 2 paralyzed people commanded a computer for 24 hours with a piece placed in the cortex section of the brain.

   In the study using BrainGate technology, computers were controlled with the commands given by human thought power. During this process, it was said that no wires were connected to the brain, and there was no significant decrease in data transmission rate.

   The tests were done in the homes of 2 paralyzed people, not in the laboratory environment. The studies were conducted at Brown University in the USA and the results published in IEEE Transactions on Biomedical EngineeringJohn Simeral, one of the people in charge of the studies, made the following statement;

  "We have demonstrated that wireless systems can work like the best performance wired ones. Signals were recorded and transmitted with almost the same accuracy as wired equipment. The only difference from previous studies is that people do not have to be connected to cables any more. This expands the area of use of the BrainGate system.''

   This project is similar to the Neuralink initiative previously planned by Elon Musk and announced with its successes. Elon Musk had previously said that they managed to make a chip that was implanted in a monkey's brain, allowing it to play video games, but BrainGate technology was the first successful attempt to do this to the human brain.
